Shares of Boeing (NYSE:BA) rose more than 1% in premarket Monday after Indian investigators released a preliminary report on the recent Air India accident. The report revealed that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, flying from Ahmedabad to London, suffered a thrust loss and began descending shortly after takeoff.
This tragedy marks the deadliest air disaster of the last ten years. However, the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board highlighted that the initial findings do not call for any immediate safety measures regarding Boeing 787 planes or their GE engines.
