In recent developments, GE Vernova announced a $100 million investment in its Charleroi, Pennsylvania facility, creating 250 new jobs as part of a wider $680 million plan to expand its U.S. manufacturing footprint and add 1,750 new positions nationwide. Additionally, the company secured a contract for seven natural gas turbines destined for the Homer City Energy Campus, which is set to be converted into a natural gas-powered data center by 2027.
