Junior miner Antimony Resources (CSE:ATMY) reported value-accretive results from the first phase of drilling at its Bald Hill project in New Brunswick.

This content has been prepared as part of a partnership with Antimony Resources Corp., and is intended for informational purposes only.

Among the 16 drillholes spanning 3,150 meters completed during phase one, 70 per cent identified antimony-bearing stibnite, with BH-25-05 yielding an intersection of more than 20 metres, further validating prospecting work to date delineating surface mineralization for more than 400 metres.

According to Wednesday’s news release, mineralization at Bald Hill has been identified in at least three antimony-bearing breccias and hydrothermal vein zones, defining more than 700 metres of strike length to a vertical depth of 300 metres catalyzed by discovery drillhole DDH08-03, which yielded 4.51 metres grading 11.7 per cent antimony, including 2.29 metres grading 20.9 per cent antimony.

Historical drilling on the project grew a deposit to more than 500 metres long averaging between 3-4 per cent antimony, with a historical NI 43-101 technical report detailing resource potential of between 30,000-40,000 tons of contained antimony.

Antimony is a critical mineral with applications in ammunition, flame retardants, lead-acid batteries and semiconductors, whose multi-billion-dollar market is currently under 70 per cent Chinese control, according to Antimony Resources’ June 2025 investor presentation, supporting demand for resources in conflict-free nations such as Canada.

Leadership insights

“I am very pleased with the diamond drilling to date. The identification of antimony-bearing stibnite in a majority of the holes indicates that the Bald Hill main zone is a high-grade antimony deposit,” Jim Atkinson, Antimony Resources’ chief executive officer, said in a statement. “We are anxiously awaiting the next batch of assays, which should be released from the laboratory soon. As the drilling progressed, batches of samples were submitted to the laboratory on a regular basis, which should mean a continuous flow of results over the next couple of months.”
