AirJoule Shares Jump After Securing Net Zero Innovation Hub Award

Shares of AirJoule Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ:AIRJ) rose 5% after the company was named one of three winners in the Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers competition, supported by technology leaders including Google and Microsoft.

The contest, which drew over 70 entries, highlights breakthrough solutions for sustainable data center operations. AirJoule stood out as the only winner addressing water efficiency, showcasing its distinctive approach to improving water sustainability in mission-critical facilities.

As part of the award, AirJoule will join the Net Zero Innovation Hub in early 2026, collaborating with industry partners to demonstrate its technology’s ability to convert data center waste heat into pure water. The company’s AirJoule system can extract water from the air even at relative humidity levels as low as 20%, offering potential solutions to water scarcity in arid regions.

“Being selected as a winner by some of the world’s largest technology and infrastructure leaders is a powerful endorsement of the AirJoule platform,” said Matt Jore, Chief Executive Officer of AirJoule Technologies.

The recognition arrives amid growing attention on water sustainability in data centers. According to a McKinsey study cited by AirJoule, more than 40% of planned U.S. data centers are located in regions facing high or extremely high water stress, signaling significant market opportunities for the company’s water-harvesting technology.
