Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) reported an 8.2% increase in U.S. sales for the third quarter of 2025, delivering a total of 545,522 vehicles compared to the same period last year. The automaker noted seven consecutive months of growth across trucks, SUVs, and electrified vehicles.
The F-Series trucks sold 207,732 units in Q3, marking a 4.7% increase year-over-year. Year-to-date sales for the F-Series reached 620,580 vehicles, keeping it America’s best-selling truck for what Ford says will be 49 straight years.
Electrified vehicles, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and battery electric models, totaled 85,789 units in the third quarter, a 19.8% increase. These vehicles accounted for 15.7% of Ford’s quarterly sales mix, up from 13.5% in Q2. Year-to-date electrified vehicle sales climbed to 242,298 units, up 16.5%.
The Expedition SUV achieved 21,844 sales in Q3, its strongest third-quarter performance in two decades with a 47.4% increase. The Maverick compact truck set a third-quarter record with 34,848 units sold, bringing its year-to-date total to 120,904, up 10.9%.
Ford Pro paid software subscriptions rose roughly 30% year-over-year, reaching about 815,000 active subscriptions. Meanwhile, the company’s BlueCruise hands-free highway driving system surpassed 7 million cumulative hours of use by the end of the quarter.
Overall, total pickup and van sales reached 313,654 units in Q3, a 7.4% gain from last year. Ford’s mobile service fleet expanded to over 4,200 units, completing more than 950,000 remote service experiences during the quarter.
