Over on the Nasdaq, roughly 61% of shares (2,016) advanced, 29% (957) declined, and 306 held steady with no notable movement.

Leading the NYSE premarket gainers was NetSTREIT Corp (NYSE:NTST), a commercial real estate management firm, which climbed 14.81%. It was followed by Select Medical Holdings Corporation (NYSE:SEM), a major hospital operator, up 10.20%, and SES AI Corporation (NYSE:SES), a battery manufacturer, which gained 8.86%.
On the downside, the largest premarket losses were seen in Joby Aviation Inc (NYSE:JOBY), a company specializing in air mobility, which dropped 10.89%. Vicarious Surgical Inc (NYSE:RBOT), a robotics developer, declined 9.04%, and Redwire Corporation (NYSE:RDW), an aerospace components supplier, slipped 7.75%.

On the Nasdaq, the standout premarket performer was Xenetic Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ:XBIO), a biotechnology firm that skyrocketed 171.10%. AlphaTON Capital Corporation (NASDAQ:ATON), an investment company, followed with a 138.53% surge, while Nexalin Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:NXL), a maker of medical devices, jumped 95.05%.
The steepest declines came from Zeta Network Group (NASDAQ:ZNB), a blockchain technology company that fell 41.47%. Galecto Inc (NASDAQ:GLTO), a biopharmaceutical firm, lost 40.90%, and Envoy Medical Inc (NASDAQ:COCH), which develops hearing devices, dropped 38.27%.
