Stellantis N.V. (NYSE:STLA) reported a solid performance in the third quarter of 2025, with consolidated vehicle shipments reaching approximately 1.3 million units — a 13% increase compared to the same period a year earlier.
The company’s strongest gains came from North America, where shipments rose by around 104,000 units, up 35% year-on-year. This rebound reflects more normalized inventory levels following the prior year’s production adjustments. The quarter also included the first deliveries of the HEMI V8-powered Ram 1500, contributing to the regional momentum.
In Europe, Stellantis posted an 8% increase in shipments, or roughly 38,000 additional units, supported by the launch of four new B-segment models built on its “Smart Car” platform: the Citroën C3, Citroën C3 Aircross, Opel Frontera, and Fiat Grande Panda. These models were not in production during the same period last year, amplifying the growth effect.
Other regions recorded a net increase of 10,000 units, representing a 3% gain overall. The Middle East & Africa delivered particularly strong results, up 21%, driven by expanded FIAT production in Algeria and healthy market conditions in Türkiye and Egypt.
However, the strong performance was partly offset by weaker light commercial vehicle volumes and softer shipments in some high-volume markets. In South America, shipments dipped by 3% — about 7,000 units fewer than in Q3 2024 — due to a tough year-on-year comparison. Last year’s third quarter benefited from catch-up deliveries delayed by severe flooding in Rio Grande do Sul earlier that year.
