Shares of AlphaTON Capital Corp. (NASDAQ:ATON) surged 10% in premarket trading Monday after the company announced a strategic collaboration with Morpheus AI (ETH:MOR) to build out advanced AI infrastructure for the TON and Telegram ecosystem.
The deal positions AlphaTON as a central provider of AI solutions to Telegram’s network of more than 1 billion monthly active users. Under the memorandum of understanding, Morpheus will serve as the preferred AI infrastructure partner for AlphaTON’s portfolio companies and incubated projects looking to integrate AI agent capabilities.
“As we incubate and support innovative projects in the TON ecosystem, providing them with best-in-class, data-protection focused, AI infrastructure is essential to their success in the world’s largest platform that respects data ownership with integrity,” said Brittany Kaiser, CEO of AlphaTON Capital.
The partnership will draw on Morpheus AI’s three-pillar infrastructure model, which combines a decentralized inference layer, a unified tools marketplace, and decentralized storage solutions. This framework is designed to meet the core infrastructure needs of AI agent developers within Telegram’s ecosystem.
Through the agreement, AlphaTON-backed projects will gain immediate access to production-ready infrastructure—dramatically reducing development time and resource requirements—while fostering closer technical collaboration between the two firms.
Both companies say the deal is aimed at tapping into “the world’s largest untapped market for AI agents that actually respect user privacy and data ownership,” leveraging Telegram’s massive global user base as a launchpad for growth.
