Solidion Technology Launches Next-Generation UPS Battery System for AI Infrastructure

Solidion Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:STI) has introduced a new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system specifically engineered to meet the unique energy demands of artificial intelligence data centers. Known as the PEAK Series, the system is powered by the company’s 5500 battery cell, which incorporates advanced silicon-carbon anode technology.

The Dallas-headquartered firm said the PEAK Series can reduce required space by up to 30% compared with traditional systems, while also lowering overall weight. According to the company, the 5500 cell is designed to last up to three times longer than conventional backup power solutions.

“AI data centers are among the most demanding and fastest-growing segments in the global power infrastructure market,” said Jaymes Winters, CEO of Solidion. “Our PEAK Series directly addresses the industry’s need for compact, efficient, and sustainable backup power solutions, enabling customers to support the exponential power demands of AI workloads.”

Commercial availability of the PEAK Series is expected in the first quarter of 2026. Solidion has already begun working with major data center partners to conduct early integration and performance testing.

The system also features lower maintenance requirements and simplified battery configurations, which the company claims help reduce both total cost of ownership and overall project expenses.

Solidion currently operates pilot manufacturing facilities in Dayton, Ohio, and holds more than 525 patents covering key battery technologies, including silicon anodes, graphite materials, and lithium-sulfur innovations. Its batteries are developed for energy storage systems as well as electric vehicles across land, air, and marine applications.
