WF International Limited (NASDAQ:WXM) saw its shares climb 3.4% in premarket trading Thursday, boosted by news that the company has secured a one-year distribution qualification from Hisense Group, one of China’s leading appliance and electronics manufacturers.
The agreement adds to WF International’s momentum, coming shortly after the company was named an authorized distributor for Qingdao Hi-Sense Hitachi Air-Conditioning Systems Co., Ltd.—a joint venture between Hisense and HITACHI, Ltd. Together, the two partnerships broaden the company’s reach across both residential and commercial HVAC markets.
Hisense’s HVAC division is among China’s top five, operating in more than 160 countries and offering a broad range of technologies, including variable refrigerant flow systems, large-scale central air conditioning, and advanced intelligent climate controls.
“Securing distribution rights with Hisense represents another key step in WF International’s growth strategy and validates our successful track record in premium brand partnerships,” said Ke Chen, Chief Executive Officer of WF International.
WF International is also incorporating both the Hisense and Hitachi brands into a proposal for a high-end residential development covering more than 100 acres in Hainan. With multiple premium systems now in its lineup, the company can pitch solutions spanning mainstream HVAC needs to advanced, intelligent climate-control offerings.
