Doroni Aerospace Begins New Reg CF Funding Round to Speed Up Commercial Rollout of H1-X Personal Aircraft

Doroni Aerospace, the FAA-certified aviation startup developing personal electric aircraft, has launched a new Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF) campaign aimed at accelerating commercial production of its H1-X personal eVTOL model. The company is targeting rapid expansion as it seeks to bring its first-generation vehicle to market within the rapidly growing, trillion-dollar Urban Air Mobility (UAM) industry.

Following eight years of development and extensive flight testing, Doroni has created a personal aircraft intended for everyday users. Equipped with intuitive flight controls and multiple built-in safety features, the H1-X is positioned as a potential breakthrough for consumer-focused electric aviation.

With the H1-X showroom prototype nearing completion and on track to debut early next year, the fresh capital raise supports Doroni’s shift from prototype development to full production. The aircraft, already FAA-approved for manned flight testing, reflects the company’s vision for short-range air travel that is safe, practical, and accessible.

Designed for routine use, the H1-X can fit into a standard two-car garage and take off directly from a driveway. It can reach speeds of up to 120 mph, fly as far as 100 miles per charge, and recharge in approximately 25 minutes. Its enclosed ducted-fan design improves both operational safety and efficiency. After just 25 hours of training, users can pilot the aircraft, which is controlled with a joystick.

“While the industry races to build flying taxis, we are focused on something far more transformative: empowering individuals with the freedom of personal flight,” said Doron Merdinger, Founder & CEO of Doroni Aerospace. “We aren’t just creating a new vehicle; we are creating a new era of mobility where people take back control of their time and their travel.”

Interest in the H1-X continues to rise. The company has logged more than 600 pre-orders, representing potential revenue above $175 million, and plans to begin deliveries in 2028.

Recent regulatory progress has widened the path toward certification for personal eVTOL aircraft, bringing consumer-operated electric flight closer to reality. Doroni is already considered a leader in this space, having completed one of the earliest manned eVTOL test flights in the United States.

Doroni’s latest investment round is now open to the public. More details are available at at invest.doroni.io.
