Strategy expands Bitcoin holdings with purchase of more than 10,600 BTC

Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ:MSTR) revealed on Dec. 8, 2025, that it bought an additional 10,624 Bitcoin (COIN:BTCUSD) between Dec. 1 and Dec. 7, spending roughly $962.7 million. The company said the purchases were executed at an average price of $90,615 per coin.

The acquisition was funded through proceeds raised under Strategy’s at-the-market (ATM) equity offering program. Over the same period, the firm sold 442,536 shares of STRD, generating $44.3 million in notional value and netting $34.9 million after commissions. Strategy also sold 5,127,684 shares of its MSTR common stock, delivering $928.1 million in net proceeds, though the company did not disclose the total notional value of these transactions.

With the latest purchases, Strategy’s Bitcoin stash reached 660,624 BTC as of Dec. 7, 2025. The company estimates its total acquisition cost at $49.35 billion, or an average of $74,696 per Bitcoin, including all fees and expenses.

Strategy also noted that it still has several classes of securities available for issuance under its ATM program, including $1.64 billion of STRF stock, $4.04 billion of STRC stock, $20.34 billion of STRK stock, and $13.45 billion of MSTR stock.
