The Peugeot family has put forward Robert Peugeot for reappointment to the board of Stellantis (NYSE:STLA) for a final two-year term, the automotive group confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday.
Under the proposal, Robert Peugeot will take on the role of vice chairman at Stellantis. The family also reiterated its “long term commitment” to the company as part of the announcement.
The reappointment is expected to be voted on at Stellantis’ 2026 Annual General Meeting. The decision reflects a change in how the Peugeot family structures its board representation, moving into a two-year mandate cycle following an initial five-year term.
