LaFleur Minerals Confirms Strong Gold Continuity with New Assay Results at Swanson Gold Project

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE:LFLR), (USOTC:LFLRF), (TG:3WK0) has announced compelling assay results from its ongoing drilling campaign at the Swanson Gold Project, reinforcing the project’s scale and continuity as a major gold system in Québec’s prolific Abitibi Gold Belt.

The results come from 60 drill holes totalling 16,592 metres completed during LaFleur’s maiden drilling program in 2025, including 12 validation drill holes at the Swanson Deposit and 28 regional exploration holes across the broader property. The data supports a strong gold mineralization footprint within the project area and provides critical technical support for the company’s forthcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), expected within the next month.

Key Highlights from Validation Drilling

The validation drilling confirmed broad, continuous gold mineralization, including several long intercepts that demonstrate robust gold continuity throughout the Swanson Deposit:

  • 2.05 g/t Au over 158.25 metres – a standout intersection that underscores widespread mineralization in the primary deposit.
  • 1.15 g/t Au over 80.3 metres – reinforcing the consistency of the deposit’s main mineralized zones.
  • 1.37 g/t Au over 80.8 metres, plus other notable intervals demonstrating sustained mineralization.
  • Higher-grade hits included 2.97 g/t Au over 66 metres with a narrow 91.1 g/t Au over 1.5 metres, and 3.15 g/t Au over 51.4 metres including 92.9 g/t Au over 0.75 metres.

These results validate the extensive gold continuity within the current Swanson resource area and help bridge historical drilling data with LaFleur’s current geological model.

Regional Exploration Success

In addition to the core validation program, 28 regional exploration holes intersected shallow gold mineralization outside the current Swanson Deposit boundary, pointing to potential new targets and satellite zones for future expansion. Notable results from these exploration holes include:

  • 1.58 g/t Au over 11.05 metres near the Jackson Showing area.
  • Other intercepts of gold mineralization, such as 0.67 g/t Au over 7.45 metres and 5.78 g/t Au over 2.05 metres, further illustrate the broader property’s exploration potential.

These findings suggest the possibility of additional open-pit gold deposits that could complement the Swanson main deposit and contribute value to the overall project strategy.

Impact and Next Steps

The assay results play a crucial role in refining LaFleur’s geological model and strengthening confidence in the continuity and scale of the Swanson system. This enhanced technical basis is expected to improve mineral resource classification, reduce projected strip ratios, and support a more robust PEA. The outcome positions the Swanson Gold Project as a potentially scalable, district-scale gold asset with long-term production potential.

Importantly, the Swanson Gold Project is located near LaFleur’s fully permitted Beacon Gold Mill, which could serve as a source of mill feed once operations restart, offering a potential pathway to early production and revenue.

LaFleur continues additional drilling below the current extent of Swanson’s known mineralization and in regional targets, with future assay results to be released as they become available.
