Envirotech Vehicles Inc. (NASDAQ:EVTV) jumped 15% in premarket trading Friday after Azio AI Corporation disclosed it had secured its first purchase order from the company for 28 advanced ASIC computing systems. Azio said full payment for the initial batch has already been received.
Deliveries of the new ASIC units are expected to begin in the coming weeks. The systems will be deployed within EVTV’s liquid-immersion-cooled modular container platform, where the company holds lease rights to the containerized, power-supported infrastructure.
Under the terms of the partnership, EVTV will retain ownership of the ASIC hardware while maintaining access to the underlying containerized power facilities. Azio AI will oversee hardware integration, system setup, and performance tuning.
Azio’s engineering team — which includes senior integration specialists with prior experience at NVIDIA and other high-performance computing operations — will assist with installation, validation, and operational optimization.
The first deployment phase is designed to test high-density power performance, immersion-cooling effectiveness, system uptime, and cost efficiency under continuous operating conditions. During this stage, the systems are expected to run specialized SHA-256 workloads, producing Bitcoin output while helping establish performance benchmarks for potential multi-megawatt scale expansion.
