Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:PLTR) announced a collaboration with Moder to develop an artificial intelligence-driven platform designed to streamline mortgage operations, with Freedom Mortgage selected as the initial pilot customer.
The platform is built using Palantir’s Ontology technology, which creates an AI framework capable of integrating with existing mortgage infrastructure. According to the companies, the system converts operational policies and procedures into configurable rules that allow teams to execute workflows more efficiently and at greater scale.
Freedom Mortgage has already begun using the platform across several internal processes, with early deployments showing improvements in both processing speed and operational accuracy. The system is currently active in limited initial rollouts.
“This strategic partnership will reshape the future of our industry,” said Michael Middleman, Chairman of Moder. “Together, we’re building technology that can help improve affordability, lower borrowing costs, and expand access to homeownership for millions of Americans.”
Moder President and CEO Erik Anderson said the partnership combines the company’s mortgage industry expertise with Palantir’s data analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities. He added that the technology is expected to accelerate Moder’s ability to deliver automated solutions to clients across several sectors.
Mike Patterson, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Freedom Mortgage, said the company believes the collaboration will improve operational efficiency and enhance customer service speed.
Elias Davis from Palantir’s Office of the CEO said the initiative is designed to connect data throughout the mortgage lifecycle and coordinate AI-powered workflows that serve homeowners more efficiently and accurately.
Founded in 2021, Moder provides technology platforms and outsourcing services to financial institutions such as banks, mortgage lenders, servicers, insurance providers and asset managers. The company operates out of Miami and Boca Raton, Florida.
