Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ:FFAI) has delivered two robots—a Master robot and an Aegis robot—to New PBB Auto Inc., an automotive dealership based in Los Angeles, the company said in a statement. The machines are expected to assist with reception and customer-facing duties inside the dealership’s showroom.
The delivery follows a binding business-to-business deposit agreement signed between the dealership and Faraday Future last year. The agreement included a non-refundable deposit and a non-binding pre-order for 600 units of the company’s FX model Super One MPV.
Separately, the company hosted an interactive technology demonstration with the Lynwood Unified School District in California. More than 300 students attended the event, which gave them the opportunity to engage directly with Faraday Future staff and robotic technologies. The demonstration was held as part of the district’s “Girl STEM Conference” and featured a humanoid robot, a robotic dog and the FF Super One MPV.
Iris Deng, Faraday Future’s senior director, delivered a keynote address during the event, discussing topics such as artificial intelligence, robotics, future mobility and career opportunities in STEM fields. The company said it intends to explore further collaboration with Lynwood USD and the wider Los Angeles County School District to develop a repeatable outreach program focused on STEM education.
“This program proved to us that there is a strong student engagement and curiosity toward AI and robotics,” Deng said in the statement.
According to the company, the robot deliveries and the school demonstration are part of its broader strategy to expand into what it describes as “Robot & Vehicle + Education” applications. In these settings, robots could be used to assist with robotics training, research activities and hands-on artificial intelligence learning in educational environments.
Faraday Future previously announced plans to enter the robotics market, with commercial sales and deliveries expected to begin in February 2026. The company’s flagship FF 91 electric vehicle began deliveries in 2023, while its FX brand Super One MPV is slated for its first customer deliveries in 2026.
