NIO reports March deliveries of 35,486 vehicles, up 136% year over year

NIO Inc. (NYSE:NIO) announced that it delivered 35,486 vehicles in March 2026, representing a 136% increase compared with the same month last year, according to a company statement.

The March total included 22,490 vehicles under the NIO brand, along with 6,877 units from the ONVO brand and 6,119 vehicles from the FIREFLY brand. During the first quarter of 2026, the Chinese electric vehicle maker delivered 83,465 vehicles, marking a 98.3% year-over-year increase.

As of March 31, 2026, NIO’s cumulative deliveries had reached 1,081,057 vehicles. The company’s shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong Exchange, and the Singapore Exchange.

The company also highlighted strong performance for its All-New ES8 SUV, which surpassed 80,000 deliveries within 181 days of its launch on March 20, 2026. According to NIO, the model ranked first in China’s large SUV category for three consecutive months, across all energy types and price segments.

NIO currently operates three vehicle brands: the premium-focused NIO brand, the family-oriented ONVO brand, and FIREFLY, which targets the compact premium electric vehicle segment.
