Oracle Deepens Google Cloud Alliance to Boost AI Database Capabilities

Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to introduce enhanced artificial intelligence tools for enterprise data management. Central to the update is the launch of the Oracle AI Database Agent for Gemini Enterprise, designed to let users query Oracle databases using natural language instead of traditional SQL.

The new AI agent, now available through the Google Cloud Marketplace, enables Gemini Enterprise users to ask business-related questions in plain language and receive insights drawn directly from Oracle data. It can handle requests such as revenue analysis, regional performance comparisons, and product-level breakdowns without requiring coding or custom-built analytics tools.

Oracle AI Database@Google Cloud has also expanded its global footprint to 15 regions, including key locations such as Tokyo, Osaka, Mumbai, Delhi, Sydney, Melbourne, Milan, Frankfurt, Montreal, Toronto, São Paulo, London, Iowa, Ashburn, and Salt Lake City. Further expansion is planned, with new regions in Turin and Mexico expected within the next year.

The collaboration also introduces additional features, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate for real-time database migration and integration between Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse and Google BigQuery. GoldenGate is designed to streamline database transfers into Oracle AI Database@Google Cloud while enabling near real-time analytics through BigQuery connectivity.

Several companies are already adopting the platform. Worldline is leveraging Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle AI Database@Google Cloud to upgrade its payments infrastructure, while AI Shift in Japan plans to use the Oracle AI Database Agent to help clients scale their Oracle AI deployments.
