Intel Rejoins Formula One Through McLaren Technology Partnership (INTC)

Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) is making a return to Formula One after agreeing to a multi-year partnership with McLaren, where it will serve as the racing organisation’s official compute partner, according to a report from Sky.

The partnership is expected to be formally announced on Thursday, although financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed, Sky said.

Intel Technology to Support McLaren Racing Operations

As part of the collaboration, Intel will provide its Xeon processors and Intel Core Ultra processors to help power a range of McLaren Racing operations and computing workloads.

The deal marks a renewed push by Intel into high-profile motorsport partnerships, leveraging advanced computing technology to support data processing, simulation and performance-focused applications within racing environments.

Partnership Expands Beyond Formula One

The agreement will also extend outside Formula One, with Intel becoming a partner of the Arrow McLaren IndyCar team.

In addition, Intel will act as an official gaming partner for the McLaren F1 Sim Racing esports division, further broadening the collaboration across motorsport and digital racing platforms.
