Wisekey International Holding AG (NASDAQ:WKEY) shares climbed 6.1% in premarket trading Wednesday after subsidiary SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ:LAES) introduced the new WISeRobot.ch platform.
The companies announced the rollout of a next-generation human-centric AI robotics ecosystem secured using post-quantum cryptographic technology.
Platform Combines AI Robotics and Quantum-Resistant Security
According to the companies, the WISeRobot.ch platform will act as the central hub for the broader robotics ecosystem, detailing product capabilities, deployment applications, partnership initiatives, and a phased development roadmap.
The platform combines WISeKey’s expertise in digital identity and cybersecurity with SEALSQ’s post-quantum semiconductor technology and public key infrastructure systems to support secure human-machine interactions.
The launch marks another step in SEALSQ’s broader strategy to integrate quantum-resistant security technologies into robotics platforms as quantum computing capabilities continue to evolve.
Technology Showcased at Davos
WISeRobot was first introduced publicly during the World Economic Forum in Davos in January, where the system was presented at CNBC Davos and during a SEALSQ-WISeKey roundtable event.
The demonstrations highlighted the platform’s ability to conduct natural human interactions within a secure identity-based framework.
During the Davos roundtable, the companies also carried out an initial proof-of-concept demonstration integrating SEALSQ’s post-quantum cryptographic technology into a live robotics environment.
The presentation showcased secure digital identity verification, protected communications, and trusted machine-to-machine interactions operating in real time.
Focus on Quantum-Resistant Infrastructure
SEALSQ said it is continuing to develop quantum-resistant algorithms and hardware-based security systems embedded at the silicon, firmware, and system levels.
The company aims to establish a secure foundation for AI-powered and autonomous technologies deployed across industries including government, healthcare, and smart infrastructure.
The WISeRobot development roadmap includes additional advances in conversational AI functionality, broader enterprise use cases, and deeper integration of post-quantum cybersecurity technologies.
