Companies to collaborate on global mobility technologies
Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE:ALV) and XPENG Inc. (NYSE:XPEV) have entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement focused on developing future mobility solutions for international markets, according to an announcement from Autoliv.
The partnership will cover several areas, including technology innovation, digital transformation, supply chain collaboration, sustainability initiatives and global business development. The agreement was signed on behalf of Autoliv by Autoliv (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd.
Autoliv to support XPENG’s international growth
Through the collaboration, Autoliv will contribute its expertise in automotive safety systems to assist XPENG with product development and its expansion into overseas markets.
XPENG is a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer and artificial intelligence technology company specialising in smart mobility, autonomous driving technologies and humanoid robotics.

Financial details remain undisclosed
Neither company disclosed the financial terms of the strategic cooperation agreement.
The partnership reflects both companies’ ambitions to combine advanced vehicle technologies with automotive safety as intelligent and connected mobility solutions continue to evolve.
