Tigo Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:TYGO) and Spanish energy technology company Ingeteam S.A. have completed compatibility testing covering selected solar inverters and module-level power electronics, providing installers with a wider range of certified system configurations.
Tigo has issued a Certificate of Compatibility confirming that specified Ingeteam inverter models can be used alongside selected products from its Tigo Flex module-level power electronics (MLPE) portfolio.
Certification Covers Ingeteam Inverters and Tigo TS4 Devices
The certification applies to ten INGECON® SUN inverter models spanning both single-phase and three-phase systems.
Seven Tigo TS4 MLPE products are also included: TS4-A-O, TS4-A-S, TS4-A-F, TS4-A-2F, TS4-X-O, TS4-X-S and TS4-X-F.
The approved combinations are designed to support a broad range of solar projects, including residential installations, commercial and industrial systems and utility-scale developments.
By completing compatibility testing, the companies aim to give solar installers, engineers and system designers greater flexibility when selecting equipment while providing assurance that the certified components have been evaluated for use together.
Ingeteam Expands Solar Equipment Compatibility
Headquartered in Spain, Ingeteam operates across 15 countries and says approximately 36 gigawatts of its inverter capacity has been installed worldwide.
The company employs around 3,800 people, including more than 500 staff working in research and development.

Gal Bauer, senior director of validation, customer success and product management at Tigo, said the certification reflects the companies’ shared commitment to maintaining an open technology ecosystem in which installers and system designers can choose between compatible components.

The companies will also host a joint webinar called “Building Smarter Solar Systems Through Open Compatibility” on September 16 from 16:00 to 17:00 CEST.
The event will focus on open compatibility within solar systems and how combining interoperable technologies can provide greater flexibility when designing and deploying photovoltaic installations.
The new certification expands the range of tested equipment available to customers using Tigo Energy (NASDAQ:TYGO) technology and strengthens cooperation between the two companies across residential, commercial and utility-scale solar markets.
