Rocket Lab Completes 16th Electron Launch of 2026

Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ:RKLB) launched its 16th Electron mission of 2026 on September 11, carrying an Earth observation satellite into orbit for an undisclosed customer.

The mission, named “Happily Ever Faster,” lifted off from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand at 3:28 p.m. NZST.

Rocket Lab said the Electron rocket successfully deployed the satellite into a 500-kilometre circular low Earth orbit.

Mission Marks 95th Electron Launch

The flight was Rocket Lab’s 95th Electron mission overall and its 16th launch of the year.

The company said its next Electron mission is scheduled to take place before the end of September from Launch Complex 1.

According to Rocket Lab, the upcoming launch will serve another commercial constellation operator.
