Circle Internet Group (NYSE:CRCL) shares fell 3.5% after the company announced that Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen plans to step down following more than five years in the role.
Fox-Geen will remain with Circle through the end of December 2026 to assist with the transition.
The company has engaged an executive search firm to help identify his successor.
CFO Transition Follows Recent Company Developments
The announcement followed a decline in Circle shares during Friday’s trading session after the stock had previously advanced amid several company developments.
These included a $100 million equity investment by Binance and a new five-year agreement for the distribution of USDC announced on September 22.
Circle also recently presented initial metrics for its Arc network at the Autonomous 2026 symposium on September 23.
