Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) and several leading technology firms saw their shares dip during Friday’s premarket session as concerns over President Donald Trump’s tariff measures resurfaced. The renewed uncertainty comes after recent court rulings temporarily paused most of Trump’s tariffs, creating volatility in the markets.
Thursday was largely focused on the White House’s efforts to respond to these legal challenges. A federal appeals court has put the initial ruling on hold to hear further arguments, with the possibility of upholding the original decision that could block the continuation of the tariffs.
Tesla’s stock dropped 1.2% in early trading, while other major tech players like Nvidia (NASDAQ NVDA), Meta (NASDAQ:META), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL), and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) also saw declines, though mostly under 1%. Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), however, bucked the trend with a slight gain. Collectively, these companies are often referred to as the “Magnificent Seven” on Wall Street.
