ParaZero Shares Jump After Live Counter-Drone System Impresses Israeli Defense Officials

Shares of ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:PRZO) rose 7% after the company showcased its DefendAir Personal Net Gun System in a successful live field demonstration that captured the attention of Israeli defense authorities.

The event, held in Kfar Saba, Israel, featured real-time interception exercises where the DefendAir system neutralized every drone threat presented—including passive drones that evade traditional radio frequency (RF)-based detection and jamming.

More than two dozen high-ranking officials and counter-terror experts from various military, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure units were in attendance. The demonstration addressed emerging challenges in drone warfare, particularly against non-transmitting and fiber-optic-controlled drones, which are resistant to conventional defense systems.

Yuval Gilad, ParaZero’s Chief Product Officer, emphasized the importance of adaptable, non-lethal solutions:

“DefendAir offers a unique and reliable solution for last layer drone defense, especially in scenarios where RF jamming or hard kill interception is ineffective, hazardous, or prohibited,”

Designed for use in sensitive environments—including airports, government buildings, VIP events, and public gatherings—the compact net-launching device disables drones by ensnaring them midair, reducing risks to nearby people and infrastructure.

The demonstration sparked discussions about the growing demand for layered counter-drone strategies, as existing technologies face increasing limitations against evolving unmanned aerial threats.

While the affiliations of the attending defense personnel remain undisclosed, the strong market response suggests growing investor confidence in ParaZero’s role in next-generation drone defense.
