Rumble shares rise after JD Vance announces hosting Charlie Kirk’s show

Rumble (NASDAQ:RUM) stock climbed 5% Monday following an announcement from Vice President JD Vance that he will host Charlie Kirk’s show on the video platform.

Vance posted on social media that he would be hosting the program at 12:00 PM ET on Tuesday, saying he would “pay tribute to my friend” Kirk, who tragically passed away on September 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University.

The news appears to have lifted investor confidence in Rumble, which markets itself as an alternative to YouTube. Kirk, a well-known conservative political activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, had a large following in conservative circles.

Rumble has seen growing engagement among conservative creators and audiences in recent years, positioning itself as a platform that champions free speech and provides a space for voices that feel limited on mainstream sites.

Kirk, 31 at the time of his death, was recognized for promoting conservative viewpoints on high school and college campuses and was a prominent figure in the “Make America Great Again” movement.
