Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOG), the parent company of Google, achieved a market capitalization of $3 trillion on Monday, marking the first time in the company’s history it has reached this milestone and placing it among a select group of tech giants to do so.
Both Alphabet’s Class A and Class C shares advanced approximately 3.8% to $250, hitting new all-time highs in the process.
