TNL Mediagene (NASDAQ:TNMG) shares more than doubled in premarket trading Thursday after the Tokyo-based digital media and data firm unveiled a new strategic partnership with U.S. e-commerce giant Coupang aimed at strengthening its Content Commerce and Retail Media Network presence in Taiwan.
The collaboration will tap into TNL Mediagene’s broad portfolio of premium editorial brands and ad inventory—including The News Lens, Business Insider Taiwan, INSIDE, Roomie, iCook, and Cool3C—to boost product visibility and support more detailed product storytelling for advertisers.
Beyond its core media assets, the partnership will also integrate Ad2iction’s Ad2 ad network and AI-powered advertising capabilities. TNL Mediagene said the alliance should meaningfully widen its first-party consumer data pool, enabling deeper insights and improved targeting precision across its advertising solutions.
“We couldn’t be more pleased to partner with a company of Coupang’s global reach and stature and are excited to combine our strengths in media content and e-commerce technology to further elevate our Content Commerce and Retail Media Network strategy,” said Co-Founder & CEO Joey Chung.
Blending content marketing with affiliate models, the companies aim to create a unified path from advertising exposure to transaction, using TNL Mediagene’s diversified content formats, interactive elements, and conversion-driven calls to action to fuel stronger sales outcomes.
