Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) has placed a firm order for 30 Boeing 787-10 widebody aircraft and secured options to purchase an additional 30 jets.
Deliveries of the new aircraft are scheduled to begin in 2031. Alongside the aircraft order, Delta has also signed an agreement with GE Aerospace to provide maintenance and support services for the GEnx engines that will power the planes.
The 787-10 is the largest member of Boeing’s Dreamliner family, offering long-haul range with enhanced fuel efficiency for commercial airline operations.
