Ford recalls more than 412,000 Explorer SUVs over suspension defect

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is recalling 412,774 Explorer vehicles across the United States after identifying a potential defect involving rear suspension toe links, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Tuesday.

According to the safety regulator, the affected component could fracture, potentially leading to reduced steering control and increasing the risk of a crash. The recall applies specifically to certain Explorer models and targets a safety issue linked to the rear suspension system.
