Foresight Autonomous Holdings Ltd. (NASDAQ:FRSX) said its majority-owned subsidiary Eye-Net Mobile Ltd. has successfully completed a large-scale live pilot of a smart mobility safety project in Bordeaux, France, conducted in collaboration with Renault Group, Orange S.A., and other partners.
The project, known as SafeCycloMove, tested Eye-Net’s collision-prevention technology in a real-world public transportation environment involving buses and cyclists. The initiative forms part of Eye-Net’s broader collaboration with Software République, which focuses on developing next-generation solutions for smart urban mobility across France and Europe.
According to the company, the trial delivered strong technical performance across key metrics, including positioning accuracy, ultra-low communication latency, stable real-time connectivity, and the ability to scale under heavy network traffic. The results support the operational readiness of Eye-Net’s vehicle-to-everything (V2X) collision-prevention system in live transportation networks.
Real-world testing across Bordeaux transit network
The pilot was coordinated by Lab TBMouv, Bordeaux Métropole, and Keolis Bordeaux Métropole Mobilités, and was conducted throughout the city’s public transit system.
During the trial, Eye-Net’s software development kit (SDK) was integrated simultaneously into several digital platforms. These included an application developed by Orange, the TBM cycling application used by Keolis, and an Atos-developed system installed inside buses. Additional collaboration came from Renault Group, Allianz, Atos SE, and Bordeaux INP.
Eye-Net’s alert system was embedded in the TBM Mobility App, a public transit navigation platform, allowing real-time communication between cyclists and buses. The system was designed to reduce collision risks, particularly in urban locations where visibility may be obstructed and vulnerable road users face greater danger.
The project evaluated the reliability of cooperative collision-prevention alerts, gathered feedback from participating users, and assessed the technology’s readiness for wider deployment across urban transportation networks.
