Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has introduced Cyber.AI, a new cybersecurity platform powered by Anthropic’s Claude artificial intelligence model, the company said in a press release. The tool is designed to help organizations shift from traditional human-paced responses to always-on, AI-driven security operations.
Cyber.AI integrates Accenture’s proprietary library of autonomous agents with the reasoning capabilities of Claude. Within the platform, Claude acts as the analytical engine, helping process large volumes of security data and deliver contextual insights across the entire cybersecurity lifecycle. The offering also includes a feature called Agent Shield, which enables organizations to protect, detect, monitor and govern autonomous AI agents in real time.
The platform builds on Accenture’s cybersecurity delivery network and draws on the expertise of more than 30,000 cybersecurity professionals across the company. Cyber.AI incorporates agentic technologies designed to automate workflows and enhance reasoning, analysis and decision-making across security operations.
According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Cyber Outlook Report 2026, developed in partnership with Accenture, almost nine out of ten organizations now see AI-related vulnerabilities as the fastest-growing cyber threat.
“Adversaries are using AI to compress attack timelines from weeks to hours, while traditional controls are built for human-speed threats,” said Damon McDougald, Accenture’s global Cybersecurity Services lead.
In one example cited in the release, a Fortune 500 agriculture company implemented Cyber.AI’s agentic capabilities to strengthen its identity and access management operations and speed up the migration of identity platforms.
Accenture has also deployed Cyber.AI within its own global IT infrastructure to secure around 1,600 applications and more than 500,000 APIs. The company said the deployment reduced scanning turnaround times from three to five days to less than one hour, while expanding security testing coverage from roughly 10% to more than 80%.
The solution draws on a library of agents covering identity security, cyber defense, secure digital core and cyber resilience. Agent Shield adds additional protection through identity management controls, threat detection and runtime safeguards designed to secure AI systems at scale.
