Nortech Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:NSYS) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $0.31 per share on Thursday, reversing a loss of -$0.54 per share recorded in the same period a year earlier.
Quarterly revenue came in at $30.3 million, representing a 5.9% increase from $28.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Following the announcement, the company’s shares rose 0.30% in after-hours trading.
Adjusted EBITDA reached $1.2 million in the fourth quarter, compared with a loss of $585,000 during the same period last year.
The results marked the third straight quarter in which Nortech delivered positive operating income and EBITDA, following a series of strategic restructuring efforts. Gross profit rose sharply to $5.1 million from $2.8 million a year earlier, an increase of 79.5%, driven by stronger manufacturing efficiency and improved gross margins.
“Nortech delivered another quarter of meaningful operational and financial progress, marking our third consecutive period of positive operating and EBITDA results reflecting the positive execution of our strategic restructuring initiatives,” said President and CEO Jay D. Miller. “The continued improvements we are seeing in gross margins, manufacturing efficiency, and world-class quality metrics reflect the disciplined execution of our long-term strategy and the dedication of our global team.”
The company reported a 90-day order backlog of $27.3 million as of December 31, 2025, compared with $26.5 million at the same point a year earlier.
During the quarter, Nortech also secured $17.2 million in debt financing and obtained AS9100:D certification for its Monterrey facility, a move aimed at strengthening its position in aerospace and other high-reliability markets.
For the full year 2025, Nortech reported a net loss of $252,000, or -$0.09 per share, an improvement from a loss of $1.3 million, or -$0.47 per share, in 2024. Annual revenue totaled $118.4 million, down 7.6% from $128.1 million the previous year.
