Freight Technologies launches AI platform DODA Smart for customs compliance in Mexico

Freight Technologies (NASDAQ:FRGT) has introduced DODA Smart, an artificial intelligence–based platform designed to automate the verification, monitoring and management of Mexico’s Digital Customs Documents across the U.S.–Mexico trade corridor. The system is intended for customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and import-export businesses handling cross-border shipments.

The platform connects directly with Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT), enabling real-time compliance checks, digital document management and the creation of electronic records that are ready for regulatory audits. The system aligns with requirements set under Mexico’s upcoming 2026 Customs Law Reform.

DODA Smart is positioned as an additional compliance component within Fr8Tech’s broader cross-border logistics intelligence ecosystem. By automating processes that previously relied on manual QR-code verification, paper documentation and fragmented record tracking, the platform aims to streamline operations and reduce compliance risk.

Freight Technologies said the product will be offered through a tiered commercial structure, ranging from a limited free-use option to enterprise subscription plans. The company expects the platform to expand its software-as-a-service portfolio alongside existing tools such as Zayren, Fleet Rocket and Fr8Radar.

The launch is also part of Fr8Tech’s strategy to help logistics participants operating under the USMCA framework manage regulatory and operational risks while increasing the company’s recurring subscription revenue base.
