Sidus Space Expands Lonestar Deal with Additional StarVault Payload

Sidus Space Inc. (NASDAQ:SIDU) has broadened its agreement with Lonestar Data Holdings Inc. to develop and deliver an additional StarVault orbital data storage payload, according to a company announcement.

The updated deal deepens Sidus Space’s role in Lonestar’s initiative to build a commercially viable space-based data storage network. It builds on the existing partnership as the StarVault platform transitions from initial missions toward full-scale commercial deployment.

Sidus is already working on the first StarVault payload, which is scheduled to launch on the LizzieSat-4 mission no earlier than fall 2026. The newly agreed payload will further expand the StarVault network, supporting Lonestar’s broader orbital data storage infrastructure.

“The expansion highlights the strength of our engineering processes and our ability to support increasingly complex payload integrations,” said Carol Craig, founder and CEO of Sidus Space.

Based in Cape Canaveral, Florida, Sidus Space operates a 35,000-square-foot facility dedicated to satellite manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing. The company provides services including satellite production, mission planning, space-based data solutions and hardware manufacturing for government, defense, intelligence and commercial clients.

Lonestar Data Holdings focuses on developing secure data storage and edge computing solutions designed for use across terrestrial, orbital and lunar environments, targeting both enterprise and government customers.
