Payroll services provider ADP reported Wednesday that hiring in the U.S. private sector accelerated more than anticipated during April.
According to the company’s latest employment report, private payrolls increased by 109,000 jobs last month, following a revised gain of 61,000 jobs in March.
Economists had forecast an increase of 85,000 jobs for April. The original March figure had previously been reported as a gain of 62,000 jobs.
