Newsmax Inc. (NYSE:NMAX) expects its international business to generate approximately $25 million in revenue during 2026, supported by continued growth across its television distribution, advertising and licensing activities worldwide.
The company said expanding partnerships and increasing demand for localized news programming are helping drive the next phase of its international strategy.
Licensing Revenue Expected to Increase Sharply
A significant portion of the projected international revenue growth is expected to come from licensing agreements.
Newsmax forecasts licensing revenue of roughly $16 million in 2026, a substantial increase from the $3.6 million reported in 2025.
The company currently distributes its cable news network in more than 100 countries through a combination of pay-TV operators, satellite providers and streaming services.
Local Partnerships Expand Global Reach
Newsmax has continued to grow its international presence by partnering with regional media groups that license the Newsmax brand and launch local-language channels in their respective markets.
Under these arrangements, the company receives revenue through brand licensing fees, advertising income and other partnership-related payments.
Management said the model allows Newsmax to expand internationally while leveraging the expertise and distribution networks of local operators.
Expansion Plans Extend Across Europe
The company has secured agreements to broaden its footprint in several European markets, including Germany, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria and Ukraine.
These partnerships involve the launch and operation of local-language news channels carrying the Newsmax brand.
Newsmax highlighted the success of its collaboration with Telekom Serbia, which began in 2022 and led to the creation of Newsmax Balkans, a Serbian-language news network serving audiences across the Balkan region.
Poland Launch Scheduled for Next Week
Building on that momentum, Newsmax and Telekom Serbia are preparing to introduce Newsmax Poland.
The new venture is expected to be formally unveiled during an event in Warsaw next week, marking another step in the company’s European growth strategy.
Management Highlights Strong International Demand
Company executives said overseas expansion has progressed faster than originally anticipated.
“Newsmax’s international growth has exceeded our expectations,” said Andy Biggers, Vice President of Distribution for Newsmax. “Our partners around the world recognize the demand for trusted news programming.”
Chief Executive Officer Christopher Ruddy said the company’s growing international footprint demonstrates increasing awareness of the Newsmax brand among global audiences.
Company Maintains 2026 Growth Outlook
Alongside its international revenue projections, Newsmax reiterated its guidance for overall revenue growth of 13% in 2026.
The company said it remains focused on expanding both its domestic and international operations while increasing audience reach through traditional television platforms and digital distribution channels.
Newsmax also noted that it is currently the fourth most-watched cable news network in the United States, reaching approximately 30 million viewers through pay-TV providers.
With licensing revenue expected to rise significantly and additional international launches planned, the company sees global expansion as an increasingly important contributor to its future growth strategy.
