Kraft Heinz Announces Departure of Senior Executive Cory Onell (KHC)

The Kraft Heinz Company (NASDAQ:KHC) said Cory Onell will step down from his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Omnichannel Sales and Asia Emerging Markets Officer at the end of June, marking a leadership change within the food and beverage group.

The company said Onell’s departure will become effective on June 30, 2026.

Advisory Role to Continue Through 2027

Although leaving his executive post, Onell will remain associated with Kraft Heinz in an advisory capacity through March 15, 2027.

The arrangement is intended to support a smooth transition following his departure from the company’s leadership team.

Severance and Bonus Arrangements Confirmed

Kraft Heinz disclosed that Onell will be entitled to severance benefits under its Amended and Restated Severance Pay Plan for Salaried Employees.

He will also receive a prorated annual bonus relating to the 2026 fiscal year.

Departure Linked to New Opportunities

According to the company, Onell is leaving Kraft Heinz to pursue other opportunities.

No further details were provided regarding his future plans, and the company did not announce a successor as part of the filing.

During his tenure, Onell oversaw omnichannel sales operations and the company’s Asia emerging markets business, playing a role in advancing Kraft Heinz’s commercial strategy across multiple distribution channels and international markets.
