Company reshapes management structure
Coty Inc. (NYSE:COTY) has announced a series of leadership changes aimed at simplifying its organisational structure and accelerating execution of its Coty.Curated strategy.
As part of the reorganisation, Executive Chairman and interim Chief Executive Officer Markus Strobel will assume direct oversight of the Prestige commercial business, with regional leadership teams reporting directly to him.
Prestige and supply chain functions to be integrated
The company will also combine its Prestige research and development and sustainability operations with the supply chain organisation.
The expanded function will be led on an interim basis by Chief Supply Chain Officer Graeme Carter as Coty seeks to streamline decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
Three senior executives to leave the company
The restructuring comes alongside the planned departures of three members of Coty’s senior leadership team.
Caroline Andreotti, Chief Commercial Officer for Prestige, will leave the business at the end of September after almost 20 years with the company.
Chief Scientific and Sustainability Officer Dr. Shimei Fan is scheduled to depart at the end of August, while Chief People and Purpose Officer Priya Srinivasan will also leave the company in August for personal reasons.
New Chief People and Purpose Officer appointed
Coty has appointed Séverine Charbon as its new Chief People and Purpose Officer, effective 1 September.
She joins from Publicis Groupe, where she most recently served as Chief Talent Officer International, bringing more than 25 years of experience in talent management, organisational development and transformation.
Commenting on the changes, Strobel said: “Coty.Curated is about clarity and focus, and a simpler operating model helps us deliver on that. It positions us to keep building behind our core brands and to support our teams as the business moves forward.”
