Freightos Limited (NASDAQ:CRGO) shares jumped 14.07% in pre-market trading on Monday after the freight pricing and booking platform reported a smaller-than-expected second-quarter loss alongside record revenue.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Freightos posted a loss of $0.03 per share, outperforming the analyst consensus for a loss of $0.06 per share.
Revenue increased 3% year-on-year to $7.7 million from $7.4 million in the second quarter of 2025. The figure was marginally below the analyst estimate of $7.75 million but represented a company record.
Adjusted EBITDA loss narrows
Freightos continued to make progress towards profitability, with its adjusted EBITDA loss narrowing to $2.0 million from $2.9 million in the corresponding period last year.
The improvement helped drive the positive market reaction despite revenue falling slightly short of Wall Street forecasts and third-quarter guidance coming in below consensus at the midpoint.
“Our second quarter results delivered record revenue ahead of our expectations and our lowest-ever Adjusted EBITDA loss, as we continued executing against the priorities we set at the beginning of the year,” said Pablo Pinillos, CEO and CFO of Freightos.
Transactions and gross booking value reach new highs
Activity across the Freightos platform continued to expand during the quarter.
The company facilitated 458,000 transactions, representing growth of 15% compared with the same period last year.
Gross booking value climbed 33% year-on-year to a record $422 million, highlighting stronger transaction volumes across the platform even as overall revenue growth remained comparatively modest.
Freightos finished the quarter with $21.4 million in cash and short-term deposits.
Q3 guidance comes in slightly below consensus
For the third quarter of 2026, Freightos expects revenue of between $7.7 million and $7.8 million.
The midpoint of $7.75 million is slightly below the analyst consensus forecast of $7.83 million.
For the full year, the company is forecasting revenue between $30.4 million and $31.0 million. The midpoint of $30.7 million is marginally ahead of the current consensus estimate of $30.67 million.
Freightos maintains profitability targets
Despite the cautious near-term revenue outlook, Freightos maintained its target of reaching adjusted EBITDA breakeven by the end of 2026.
The company also continues to expect to become cash generative by the middle of 2027.
The combination of a narrower quarterly loss, record gross booking value and continued progress towards adjusted EBITDA breakeven provided support for the shares, outweighing the modest revenue miss and slightly softer third-quarter guidance.
