AIBotics, Inc. (USOTC:AIBT) has provided an update on the development and manufacturing of its PHILL ROBOT AI-powered wellness platform, as manufacturing partner 3DX Industries, Inc. (OTCID:DDDX) continues work supporting an initial five-unit pilot programme.
The project is intended to establish the manufacturing processes, assembly procedures and quality standards required to move PHILL ROBOT from product development towards a repeatable production model.
The companies have not yet confirmed a delivery schedule for the pilot units, with the timetable dependent on completing outstanding manufacturing, integration and validation requirements.
3DX Industries Supports Manufacturing and Assembly
Under the arrangement, 3DX Industries is providing component manufacturing, prototyping, assembly and manufacturing-development services for the PHILL ROBOT platform.
The US-based manufacturing company is using capabilities including metal additive manufacturing, advanced resin printing, precision CNC machining, finishing and assembly.
These processes are intended to support refinements to the robot’s physical design as development progresses.
AIBotics remains responsible for software development, artificial intelligence architecture, system integration and overall product performance.
The manufacturing programme requires coordination between mechanical components, electronics, software and robotic systems before the pilot units can undergo final testing.
The companies are using the initial five-unit programme to assess whether the product can be manufactured and assembled consistently.
Five-Unit Pilot to Establish Production Requirements
The pilot programme is structured around a series of engineering, manufacturing and testing activities.
The proposed process begins with engineering and design reviews, followed by production and inspection of components for the initial units.
Mechanical and electronic assembly will then take place before AIBotics undertakes software installation and system integration.
The completed units will undergo functional testing, with further refinements made where necessary before final acceptance.
AIBotics said the sequence remains a planning framework, with the status and timing of individual stages still subject to confirmation with 3DX Industries.
Once the remaining requirements have been established, 3DX is expected to provide a target delivery timetable for the five pilot units.
AIBotics Targets Repeatable Manufacturing Process
The pilot is intended to provide the technical and operational information needed to evaluate potential larger-scale production.
AIBotics said decisions on expanded manufacturing, commercial availability and customer deliveries will depend on successful completion of the pilot, demonstrated product performance, financing availability and final manufacturing arrangements.
Chief Executive Officer Ben Kaplan said the immediate priority is establishing a consistent manufacturing and testing process.
“Our priority is to turn PHILL’s design into a product that can be manufactured, integrated and tested consistently,” Kaplan said.
“The five-unit pilot is an important step in establishing that foundation. We want to define the work that remains, complete it systematically and communicate meaningful progress as PHILL moves toward commercialization.”
The company has not announced a timetable for commercial production or disclosed expected manufacturing costs for the platform.
PHILL ROBOT Designed for Massage and Wellness Applications
PHILL ROBOT is being developed as an AI-powered robotic wellness platform intended to provide personalised, on-demand massage and therapeutic-touch functions.
The system combines a foldable robotic arm with adaptive artificial intelligence controls, interchangeable massage functions and connected software.
AIBotics is targeting potential applications in residential settings, fitness and recovery facilities, hotels and other hospitality environments.
The platform is designed to adapt its functions to different user requirements through its robotic hardware and software systems.
AIBotics has also recently announced additional measures to protect the PHILL ROBOT trademark as product development continues.
AIBotics and 3DX Industries Outlook
The five-unit pilot represents an initial manufacturing-development stage for PHILL ROBOT rather than the start of commercial-scale production.
The immediate focus is on confirming the remaining engineering and integration requirements, completing the pilot units and evaluating their performance.
AIBotics will oversee the software and system integration work, while 3DX Industries continues to support physical manufacturing and assembly.
Further production commitments and potential customer deliveries remain dependent on the results of the pilot and subsequent commercial arrangements.
Neither company has disclosed a confirmed completion date, production volume beyond the initial five units or expected revenue from the programme.
