Callan JMB Receives QuickStrip Manufacturing Equipment, Projects Up to $15 Million in Revenue Over 18 Months

Callan JMB, Inc. (NASDAQ: CJMB) has received a complete QuickStrip oral thin-film production line from Rapid Dose Therapeutics Corp., marking a step towards establishing domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at its facility in Texas.

The healthcare logistics and critical infrastructure company expects the new manufacturing platform to generate up to $15 million in revenue during its first 18 months of operation, subject to successful equipment qualification.

The delivery forms part of Callan JMB’s strategy to expand its pharmaceutical services business through manufacturing, packaging, fulfilment and distribution capabilities in the United States.

QuickStrip Technology to Support US Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

The production line incorporates Rapid Dose Therapeutics’ proprietary QuickStrip technology, which uses rapidly dissolving oral films to deliver active ingredients without requiring water or conventional tablets.

Once installed and qualified, the equipment is expected to support the domestic production of oral thin-film products for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and government healthcare applications.

The collaboration combines Rapid Dose Therapeutics’ drug delivery technology with Callan JMB’s existing infrastructure, regulatory capabilities and healthcare logistics network.

The company said the investment would support its broader objective of strengthening domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare supply chain preparedness.

Company Targets Up to $15 Million in Initial Revenue

Callan JMB estimates that the oral thin-film manufacturing operation could generate revenue of up to $15 million during the first 18 months following successful qualification of the production equipment.

The projection remains dependent on the completion of installation, qualification and the commencement of commercial operations.

Wayne Williams, Chief Executive Officer of Callan JMB, described the equipment delivery as an important development in the company’s expansion strategy.

“This shipment is an important milestone in our vision to fast track the building of a comprehensive U.S.-based pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare logistics platform,” Williams said.

He added that the company intends to use its existing logistics and infrastructure capabilities to develop additional revenue opportunities while supporting domestic pharmaceutical production.

Manufacturing Expansion Not Expected to Require Additional Capital

Callan JMB also addressed the funding requirements associated with its manufacturing expansion.

According to Williams, neither the QuickStrip manufacturing project nor the company’s recently announced intravenous bag manufacturing facility will require additional capital to be raised.

“Neither the completion of this project nor the recently announced IV Bag manufacturing facility require us to raise any additional capital,” Williams said.

The company is developing a broader healthcare services platform encompassing pharmaceutical logistics, manufacturing, specialty packaging, warehousing, cold-chain distribution and emergency preparedness.

The QuickStrip production line represents an additional manufacturing capability within that strategy.

Outlook

The arrival of the QuickStrip equipment advances Callan JMB’s plans to establish US-based oral thin-film manufacturing operations and expand its pharmaceutical services portfolio.

The company’s projected revenue opportunity of up to $15 million over 18 months remains conditional on successful equipment qualification and the start of operations.

Callan JMB has not disclosed a timetable for completing installation or qualification, nor has it provided details of confirmed customer orders associated with the projected revenue.

The next milestones will include bringing the production line into operation and demonstrating its ability to generate commercial revenue.
